We're CHROMATIC Creative: a theatre company dedicated to the support and development of LGBTQ+ artists, youth and theatre working in music theatre.

Based in the East Midlands, our work provides a platform that queers the norm of theatre making and producing.​CHROMATIC Creative launched in 2020 as MPTheatricals under the creative leadership of Matt Powell. Through acclaimed programmes, digital productions and artist development, we have engaged with hundreds of artists, writers and performers. We’ve worked in partnership with The Lowry Salford Quays, Curve Theatre, ALPMusicals, Queerly Productions, The Other Palace, University of Wolverhampton and De Montfort University in exciting collaborations, showcasing outstanding new musicals & running bespoke acclaimed projects. In 2022, they made the decision to change the company’s identity to reflect a new vision and mission statement for the organisation.
